The 12-song album was released on Sunday, with most of the songs having a simple music video posted on YouTube.
The album sees an extensive collaboration between Angham and several renowned names from the creative scene.
The name of Akram Hosny, her frequent collaborator, appears in the album title song Tegy Nseeb and Khalik Ma'aha (Stay with Her), with Hosny penning the lyrics to the music with Ehab Abdelwahed.
Mohamed El-Sharnouby, one of the returning composers of Angham's repertoire, is behind the music for the song El-Oloub Asrar (Hearts Have Secrets), to the lyrics by Amaar Mostafa.
Moreover, known pop star Tamer Ashour composed music for Kan Baree' (Was Innocent), a song carrying lyrics by Nader Abdallah.
The album also includes the song W Ba'alak Alb (You've Got a Heart) with lyrics by Amir Teama, written to the music by late Egyptian composer Riad El-Hamshari (1958-2007).
The lyrics of other songs also carry the names of Amir Teama, Nader Hamdy, Tamim, Tarek Madkour, Hala El-Zayat, and others.
The new album brings together a team of the best Egyptian musicians, instrumentalists, and production staff.
Hany Farahat is in charge of the string section in most compositions, alongside Bebawy Raafat and Ahmed Ragab (bass guitar), Mostafa Aslan (guitar), Yasser Ghonim (solo violin), Shadi El-Gendy and Maged Sorour (kanun), Hesham El Arabi (percussion), Najm Nabil and Ahmed Ayady (darbouka), Samir Abdel-Moteleb (oud), and several others.
The names behind mix and mastering include Tarek Madkour, Hassan El Shafei, and Amir Mahrous.
Since the album's release on Sunday afternoon, many songs began trending on YouTube, scoring tens of thousands of views.
So far, the most viewed song is Howa Enta Meen (Who Are You?), reaching 200,000 views, followed by W Ba'alak Alb with 130,000 views.
Born in 1972, Angham is one of the best female voices in Arab music today. She started her career alongside her well-known musician father Mohamed Ali Soliman in the late 1980s, before embarking on her independent path.
She has released over 25 albums, including Fil Rokn elBaeed elHady (In The Far Distant Corner, 1987), Awal Gawab (First Letter, 1988), Shokran (Thank You, 1989), Shayfak (I See You, 1992), Betheb Meen (Who Do You Love, 1997), Bahibbik Wahashteeny (Loving You, I Miss You, 2005), Mahaddesh Yehasebni (Don't Judge Me, 2010), Ahlam Bareaa (Innocent Dreams, 2015), Rah Tezkerny (You Will Remember Me, 2018), Hala Khassa Geddan (Very Special Case, 2019), and Mazh (What?, 2020), among other highly successful singles.
Angham performs extensively in Egypt and across the Arab world. One of her most recent appearances was at the opening of the Mawazine Festival in Rabat, Morocco, on 21 June.
Right before Rabat, she graced the stage of the Arena Theatre in Kuwait City on 17 June, accompanied by an orchestra conducted by Hany Farahat.
