Mohamed Salem and Mohamed Antar scored in each half for Arab Contractors, while Seifeddine Jaziri netted Zamalek’s lone goal.

Arab Contractors, now third from the bottom with 24 points, face a daunting task to escape the danger zone. They are six points behind their closest rival, Pharco FC, with only four games remaining.

Zamalek, fielding a second-string team, remain fifth with 46 points.

The White Knights started the game with early pressure, while Arab Contractors sat back in defense. Despite dominating possession, Zamalek struggled to find openings in Arab Contractors' compact backline.

Against the run of play, Salem capitalized on a blunder from young defender Ahmed Refai, going clear on target, rounding the keeper, and scoring into an empty net.

The game maintained the same pattern, and Antar led a solo run for over 25 yards before sending a powerful shot into the bottom corner to double his team’s lead eight minutes after the break.

Zamalek continued to press, and Tunisian striker Jaziri pulled one back from close range in the 62nd minute, but it was not enough to salvage anything from the game.
