In a video broadcasted by Extra News late on Tuesday, President Sisi was seen behind the wheel with Sheikh Bin Zayed beside him as they toured the city.

Walking among the opulent structures of the city, they engaged with the public, capturing moments in photographs, and held an open-air dialogue by the sea, surrounded by enthusiastic youth.

Their meeting included a break to enjoy a football match at the New Alamein Festival, which has drawn in thousands of visitors during its second edition this year.

President Sisi thanked Sheikh Bin Zayed for his presence at the festival. Then, they took a photo with the football players.

Sheikh Bin Zayed's visit to New Alamein, as part of his multi-day trip to Egypt, came amid the city's delightful weather with crystal blue waters and golden sandy beaches during this time of the year.

Joy also fills the air with the city hosting of the second edition of the New Alamein Festival, ongoing from 11 July to 30 August.

The festival showcases a range of concerts, exhibitions, beach activities, and entertainment events, adding to the city's vibrant atmosphere.

This visit underscores the robust political relations between the two nations, shared perspectives on regional and global matters, and expanding economic ties and unprecedented investments.

The UAE has injected a substantial $35 billion in foreign direct investments (FDIs) for developing Ras El-Hekma on the North Coast, constituting the largest FDI sum in Egypt's history.

The significant agreement in February between Egypt and the UAE aimed to transform Ras El-Hekma into a state-of-the-art city, positioning it as a key urban, business, and tourism hub along the North Coast.
