Ahly are now leading the league table with 78 points from 30 games, five points ahead of second-placed Pyramids FC who played two matches more.
They need only one point from their four remaining games to be crowned Egypt Champions for the second consecutive time and the 44 th in the club’s history.
The 25-year-old broke the deadlock just 14 minutes into the game after a precise feed from Hussien El-Shahat within the penalty area.
Displaying exceptional ball control, the Palestinian striker fired a low shot into the net.
He extended the lead ten minutes later with a thunderous strike from close range.
In the 65 th minute, the towering striker who joined Ahly from Swedish side Sirius in January completed his hat-trick, taking his goal tally to 18 and lead the league top scorers’ chart.
In the 77th minute, substitute Percy Tau put the icing on the cake with a fourth goal.
Ahly are set to face Smouha on Thursday in a rescheduled fixture from the 24th matchday as they march towards potential league glory.
Similar on Sunday, Pyramids FC overcame ZED FC 2-1 in a postponed fixture from the 29th matchday.
