The Swiss tactician expressed his dismay with the team's lack of signings, emphasizing the need for stronger support.
Following a 4-0 victory over Arab Contractors, Koller addressed the press, voicing his concerns about the relentless demands on the players.
"After a gruelling season, we are putting immense pressure on the players, expecting them to continue performing in the season and then join the national team," Koller stated.
"There seems to be a lack of accountability within Ahly and the national team setup."
Detailing the upcoming schedule, Koller highlighted the packed calendar, including Egypt Cup fixtures, national team commitments, the CAF Champions League, and the African Super Cup.
He emphasized the continuity between the current and upcoming seasons, expressing worries about player fatigue.
Ahly's next challenge is against Pharco FC in the Egypt Cup's round of 16 on 20 August, with a directive from Competitions Committee head Amer Hussien to conclude the tournament within the same month.
Koller emphasized the human aspect of the players, calling for a minimum three-week break to recuperate.
With Ahly leading the league standings, the coach stressed the importance of player welfare for sustainable success.
As they aim for their 44th Egyptian League title, the club is also pursuing additional triumphs this season, having already secured victories in the Egypt Super Cup, Egypt Cup, and CAF Champions League.
In conclusion, Koller reiterated his dissatisfaction with the team's recent acquisitions, attributing responsibility to the management.
"The Egyptian Football Association must fulfill their duties beyond organizing tournaments," he affirmed.
