A major exhibition entitled In the Company of Mahmoud Said opened on 16 July at Aisha Fahmy’s historical palace in Zamalek, celebrating the seminal painter’s 60th death anniversary.

Inaugurated by Ahmed Hanno, the new minister of culture, and Walid Kanoush, head of the Fine Arts sector, the exhibition was beautifully curated by visual artist Aly Said, the general manager of Centres of Arts. Visiting the exhibition was like travelling back in time.
