According to the Egyptian presidential statement, El-Sisi commended the esteemed efforts of the authority in safeguarding state rights and public funds.
He emphasized that independence of the judiciary, consolidation of justice, and protection of rights and duties in alignment with the constitution and laws are fundamental to the country’s progress.
According to Egypt's State Information Service (SIS), the State Lawsuits Authority is a judicial institution that safeguards Egyptian citizens’ public funds and interests.
The authority was established in 1875, before the establishment of the Egyptian national courts in 1883.
