Wadaa Wadaa, released on 21 August, is Ashour's second single in 2024.

It reached almost one million views on YouTube in four days, climbing to #2 on the platform's Trending for music.

"Farewell Farewell. I no longer have time for you. My heart is dead; it's no longer pure for you ... What has brought you back?"

The song lyrics talk about a past love that returns when his heart recovers from the pain of betrayal but can no longer grant trust.

Mostafa Ibrahim composed the music for this song with an arrangement by Amr El-Khodary, to the lyrics of Mohamed Gashm Basha.

Ashour will take the Porto Said stage, in Egypt, on 30 August.

On 6 September, he will perform at the Abadi Al-Johar Arena in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and on 11 October at Dubai's Coca-Cola Arena.

Ashour was born in 1984 and began his musical journey in 2004.

He initially made his mark as a songwriter for notable singers like Amer Moneib, Mohamed Fouad, and Fadl Shaker.

His breakthrough as a singer came with the release of his debut single Zekrayat Kedaba (Lying Memories) in 2006. The song's success led Ashour to work on his first album Saab (Difficult), released in 2007.

After that, Ashour released several other albums, including Had Byheb (2008), Laya Nazra (2011), Esht Maak (2014), Khayali (2017), Ayam (2019), and Tegy Netrahen (2022).

These albums feature many of his top hits, such as Khaleeny Fi Hodnak, Baol Aady, Ana Ragaa, De Hekaya, and Min Gheir Mahkeelk.

In January, Ashour released one of his most successful songs, Haygeeli Mawgoa.

So far, the single has almost 140 million views and continues to trend on YouTube, currently the #7 top music video.

Over the past years, Ashour has garnered a large fan base, with his concerts in Egypt and across the Arab world being sold out days before the performance.
