EGX gains about EGP 13 bln at close of Sunday trading

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) gained about 13 billion pounds at the close of trading Sunday on the back of sales operations by local investment funds and individual Arab and foreign investors.

The EGX 30 benchmark index was up by 0.42 percent, reaching 30,902.88 points.

The broader EGX 70 EWI index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) increased by 0.92 percent to 7,141.2 points.

The all-embracing EGX 100 index rose by 0.95 percent to 10,244.91 points
