The Cairo giants will join domestic league champions Ahly, Egypt Cup winners Pyramids FC, and League Cup winners Ceramica Cleopatra in the competition scheduled to take place between October 17 and 21 in Abu Dhabi.
Last year, the Egyptian Football Association introduced a new format for the tournament, expanding the participation to four clubs instead of the traditional two.
Ahly, boasting 13 titles under the old format, emerged victorious in the inaugural edition of the revamped Egypt Super Cup last December, securing their 14th title by defeating Modern Future 4-2 in the final after extra time.
Zamalek, with four Super Cup titles to their name, last clinched the trophy in 2020 when they overcame arch-rivals Ahly 4-3 in a penalty shootout.
