The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Abu Zeid emphasised in a statement that "this crime is yet another example of the daily violations committed by Israeli forces against Palestinian civilians and their supporters."
"These actions constitute part of a broader pattern of violence and human rights abuses in the occupied Palestinian territories," read the text.
Furthermore, he denounced the unprecedented moral dilemma facing the international community due to the continued atrocities committed against civilians in the occupied Palestinian territories over long decades.
The Egyptian diplomat expressed his sincere condolences to the government and people of Turkey and Eygi’s family for their painful loss.
On Friday, Eygi, 26, was shot by Israeli forces while attending a demonstration against settlement expansion in the West Bank.
Following her killing, the US said it was urgently seeking information on the death of Eygi, who holds US citizenship.
Turkey also condemned her murder, with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemning the Israeli "barbaric" action.
On Saturday, the family of the pro-Palestinian activist demanded an independent investigation into her death.
Israeli settlements in the West Bank - where about 490,000 colonial settlers live - are illegal under international law.
Since 7 October, Israeli forces have killed more than 690 Palestinians in the West Bank, according to the Palestinian health ministry.
