EGX indices down on Tuesday

Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes receded on Tuesday on the back of sales by Arab and local institutions and investment funds.

The market capital lost EGP 16 billion to reach 2.054 trillion pounds.

The EGX 30 benchmark index decreased by 0.89 percent to reach 30,104.35 points.

The broader EGX 70 EWI of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) dropped by 0.96 percent, closing at 7,071.56 points.

The all-embracing EGX 100 index was also down by about 1.02 percent, ending at 10,076.87 points.
