"I knew the game against Botswana wouldn't be easy. I studied their previous games and was aware of their high motivation and energy," Hassan said in a press conference.
"The team implemented the strategy I wanted on the field, which helped us control the game and neutralize Botswana’s strengths," he added.
Hassan emphasized the need to remain focused on future challenges despite two consecutive victories, including a previous win over Cape Verde.
"We’ve had a great start, but what’s coming is more important. There are no easy games in Africa, as the gaps between teams are not wide," he affirmed.
Egypt are leading Group C, including Cape Verde and Mauritania, as they push towards securing a spot in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, set to be hosted by Morocco.
