The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts that temperatures in Cairo and the Nile Delta will reach 32 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, rising to 35 degrees on Friday and peaking at 37 degrees Celsius on Saturday.
South Sinai will enjoy a reprieve from the heat on Wednesday, with temperatures reaching 35 degrees. Starting Thursday, temperatures will rise again, peaking at 40 degrees on Saturday.
In Southern Upper Egypt, temperatures will reach 41 degrees Celsius on Friday, with the hottest day occurring on Saturday, where temperatures are expected to climb to 43 degrees.
Northern Upper Egypt will also experience a temperature increase, reaching 38 degrees on Friday and peaking at 39 degrees on Saturday.
Coastal regions will also see a rise in temperatures, with highs expected to reach 31 degrees on Wednesday and 35 degrees on Friday and Saturday.
Warm and humid temperatures are expected at night.
