Six soldiers were also wounded, three of them critically, the Israeli army said.
The latest fatalities bring the military's losses in Gaza war to 348 since the start of the Israeli ground offensive in the Palestinian territory on October 27.
Meanwhile, two Palestinian citizens were killed, and others were injured on Wednesday when the Israeli occupation forces bombed a house in Al-Sikka Street in Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, according to WAFA news agency.
Several citizens were also injured after a drone fired bullets at their homes in Al-Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 7 has risen to more than 41,252 reported fatalities, mostly children and women, with an additional 95,497 individuals sustaining injuries.
Blinken arrives
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Cairo early Wednesday on his 10th trip to the Middle East since the start of the war in Gaza nearly a year ago.
In Cairo, Blinken will address ceasefire efforts with Egyptian officials, including President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, according to the US State Department.
After months of mediated negotiations failed to pin down a ceasefire, Washington said it was still working with mediators Qatar and Egypt to finalise an agreement.
US officials have expressed increasing frustration with Israel as Prime Minister Benjamen Netanyahu has publicly rejected US assessments that a deal is nearly complete and has insisted on an Israeli military presence on the Egypt-Gaza border.
