A snap shot from the interview with Zamalek winger Konrad Michalak.
Confederation Cup winners Zamalek are set to face fellow Egyptian club Ahly, winners of the Champions League, on Friday 27 September in Saudi Arabia.
The Polish winger, who recently joined Zamalek, was included in the squad list sent by the club to participate in this crucial encounter.
"I am very excited to kick off preparations with the team for the Super Cup," Michalak told Zamalek's official Facebook account on Wednesday.
"Since arriving at the club, everyone has been talking about the Super Cup, which has made me eager to take part in this match."
The 26-year-old joined Zamalek on a one-season loan deal from the Saudi second division side Ohod, where he netted nine goals and provided three assists in 32 appearances in all fronts.
He emphasized the warm welcome he received from the club representatives and fans, pledging to give his best to repay their support.
"I chose to join Zamalek as I believe it will be a valuable experience for me," he added.
"The fans of the club showed me immense love even before I signed the contract, and they were a crucial factor in my decision to join the team."
"I am truly grateful for their warm reception, and I aim to reciprocate this on the field. I will give my all and hope to contribute to the team's success in securing all possible titles."
Michalak marks Zamalek's fifth summer signing, following Moroccan fullback Mahmoud Bentayek, Palestinian striker Omar Farag, left-back Mohamed Hamdy, and Senegalese youth forward Sidi Ndaye.
Zamalek have clinched the CAF Super Cup title four times, while Ahly holds a record of eight trophies.
The White Knights' first Super Cup triumph dates back to 1993 when they defeated Ahly 1-0 in South Africa.
