On Wednesday, a vehicle carrying 26 Egyptians overturned on the desert road in Derna, eastern Libya, leaving 11 dead and 15 injured.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty has directed the Egyptian consulate general in Benghazi to coordinate with relevant authorities in Libya to provide all forms of support for the injured and repatriate the bodies of the dead Egyptians back home, according to a foreign ministry statement on Thursday.
Tens of thousands of Egyptians live and work in Libya.
