The arrest took place following posts on social media, in which a young woman accused Al-Tijani of harassing her and sending indecent images during their conversation on social media.

The incident gained widespread attention after it was shared on social media; however, no formal complaint had been filed by the woman at the time.

In response to the accusations, Al-Tijani filed a defamation report against the woman and her father, accusing them of damaging his reputation.

Upon investigation, it was revealed that Al-Tijani is not affiliated with the Tijani Sufi Order and had previously been expelled from it, as clarified in a statement by the Tijani Order officials.

Meanwhile, the National Council for Women filed a complaint to the Public Prosecutor against Al-Tijani, following the young woman's post, in addition to similar posts from three other girls on the same person.

Legal proceedings are underway, and Al-Tijani and the young woman have been referred to the Public Prosecution for further investigation.

Al-Tijani is known as the spiritual guide to several celebrities.
