The Sufi Sheikh, who proclaims himself as the leader of the "Tijani Sufi Order," was arrested on Friday after a young woman wrote on her Facebook account that the man sent her inappropriate images during their conversation on social media.

The incident gained widespread attention after the post was shared on social media; however, no formal complaint had been filed by the woman at the time.

In response to the accusations, the man filed a defamation report against the woman and her father, accusing them of damaging his reputation.

Upon investigation, it was revealed that the Sheikh is not affiliated with the Tijani Sufi Order and had previously been expelled from it, as clarified in a statement by the Tijani Order officials.

Meanwhile, the National Council for Women filed a complaint to the Public Prosecutor against Al-Tijani, following the young woman's post, in addition to similar posts from three other girls on the same person.

Al-Tijani is known as the spiritual guide to several celebrities.
