Light rainfall is expected in the Northern Coast and Lower Egypt and scattered showers are expected to continue intermittently throughout the day and extend into southern regions, reported the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA).
Strong winds are expected on Sunday along the coasts of Matrouh, Alamein, Alexandria, Baltim, and Port Said, with speeds ranging from 40 to 50 km/h.
Temperatures in the northern coastline are forecast to fluctuate between 29 degrees Celsius and 30 degrees starting Monday through Friday.
In Greater Cairo and the Nile Delta, temperatures will reach 32 degrees on Monday, remaining steady until Wednesday. On Thursday and Friday, they will rise slightly to 33 degrees.
In South Sinai, temperatures reach 35 degrees on Monday, climbing to 37 degrees by Friday.
Northern Upper Egypt will maintain a temperature of 34 degrees starting Monday and throughout the week, except on Tuesday when it will slightly ease to 33 degrees.
Southern Upper Egypt will experience hotter temperatures than the northern region, starting at 38 degrees Celsius on Monday. Temperatures will peak at 39 degrees on Thursday and reach a maximum of 40 degrees on Friday.
Nighttime temperatures will remain warm and humid.
