Defending champions Ahly secured an easy 6-0 aggregate victory, while Pyramids FC advanced with a 4-2 aggregate win.

In the Confederation Cup, title holders Zamalek earned a place in the group stage after defeating Kenya's Police 4-1 on aggregate.

Meanwhile, Masry, Egypt's second representative in the Confederation Cup, will be facing Al-Hilal of Libya in the second leg of the second preliminary round at Alexandria's Borg El-Arab Stadium on Sunday.

The Port-Saidi based side lost the first leg 3-2 in Libya, one week earlier.

Ahly hold a record 12 Champions League titles, while Zamalek have clinched the Confederation Cup twice, in 2019 and 2023.
