Zamalek defender Mahmoud El-Wensh Hamd
The highly anticipated encounter will occur on Friday at the Kingdom Arena Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Zamalek will enter the game as the CAF Confederation Cup champions, while Ahly have secured their 12th title as winners of the CAF Champions League.
El-Wensh, 29, underwent surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament injury in February, his third such injury in three years.
While the Egyptian national centre-back is unlikely to feature in the starting lineup, he will provide support to his teammates from the bench as he continues his rehabilitation
Portuguese coach José Gomes has also called up the newly signed quartet: defender Mohamed Hamdi, Moroccan left-back Mahmoud Bentayg, Polish winger Konrad Michalak, and Palestinean striker Omar Faraj.
However, left-back Ahmed Fattouh will miss the match.
Zamalek full squad:
Goalkeepers: Mohamed Sobhi, Mohamed Awwad, and Mahmoud El-Shennawy;
Defenders: Omar Gaber, Hamza Mathlouthi, Mahmoud "El-Wensh" Hamdi, Hossam Abdel-Meguid, Mostafa El-Zenary, Ahmed Mahmoud, Mohamed Hamdi, and Mahmoud Bentayg;
