These remarks came during the three ministers' meeting on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
During their meeting, they addressed "the underway dangerous escalation in the region."
They also emphasized that "halting this escalation begins with stopping the Israeli aggression on Gaza," the statement said.
Moreover, the FMs called on the international community and the UN Security Council to assume their relevant responsibilities to stop the war.
They further stressed that Israel bears full responsibility for this deterioration, which "will have serious consequences on the entire region."
Egypt has repeatedly affirmed its full support to Lebanon amid the Israeli attacks, renewing its warning that such unjustified escalation poses catastrophic consequences to the region.
At least 558, including 50 children, were killed and hundreds injured in the Israeli strikes in southern and eastern Lebanon on Monday, marking the deadliest day of cross-border violence since the Israeli war on Gaza began.
On the Palestinian front, Israel has killed and injured over 130,000 Palestinians, mostly children and women, since 7 October.
It has also damaged most of Gaza’s infrastructure and displaced the majority of the population.
