Macron says Israel's Gaza war has 'gone on too long'

French President Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday demanded a ceasefire "as soon as possible" in Gaza, saying Israel's deadly war has lasted too long.

The Gaza war "has gone on too long," Macron told the United Nations, adding that "there is no explanation possible" for the thousands of civilian deaths.
