Only a week after its release on YouTube, the new song has garnered over 1.2 million views, becoming #4 on YouTube's Trending list for music in Egypt.
With the music and oud solo by Namira, the lyrics written by Flipeno Ahmed express a sentiment of longing.
“I wish we had enough of the special ones. I wish they stayed longer. Everyone leaves; this is the guaranteed truth,” it says.
The song has arrangement and guitar lines by Turkish musician and music producer Metehan Köseoğlu, to the Turkish string orchestra Istanbul Strings.
Namira's new tour is set to kick off in the US on 18 October in New Jersey, with a performance the following day in Washington DC.
Then, he will go to Boston on 20 October, before heading to London on 2 November.
The singer-songwriter has been on demanding US and Europe tours for over a year.
