The units, housed in specially equipped vehicles, are stationed at different sites across the Egyptian capital, including Al-Gezira Club, Maadi Club, Heliopolis Club, Al-Shams Club, Cairo Festival Mall, and Katameya Shooting Club.
The interior ministry said on Saturday that the move is part of its efforts to modernize its services, facilitate obtaining documents, streamline procedures, and speed up providing services to citizens.
Recently, the ministry installed mechanized offices to allow citizens to issue all their official certificates, such as birth certificates.
These time- and effort-saving machines are installed at shopping malls in Nasr City, including City Stars, and at Cairo, Sharm El-Sheikh, and Hurghada airports.
