The African champions progressed to the last four as the best second-placed team in the respective groups.
They finished second in Group B with three points (+26), tied with fellow Egyptian club Zamalek (-2) and Saudi club Khaleej Club (+16), but advanced due to their better goal difference.
The European champions dominated the game from the outset, ending the first half with a seven-goal lead at 17-11.
Earlier in the day, Zamalek fell to Veszprem of Hungary in a Group A match, 34-27. In Group B, defending champions SC Magdeburg of Germany defeated Khaleej Club 35-28.
