Marmoush opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 19th minute to net his first Europa League goal. Eric Ebimbe quickly doubled the lead three minutes later, and Ansgar Knauff sealed the win with a third goal in the 82nd minute.
Besiktas found a late consolation when Arthur Masuaku scored in stoppage time, but it wasn't enough to change the outcome.
This marked Marmoush’s first-ever Europa League goal, having previously scored four goals in the UEFA Conference League last season.
The 25-year-old international has enjoyed a stellar start to the 2023/24 season, with seven goals and five assists in just eight matches across all competitions. He is on course for his best campaign yet, after netting 17 goals in 41 matches last season.
