Zamalek and Masry will compete in Group D alongside Enyimba of Nigeria and Black Bulls Maputo of Mozambique.
Defending champions Zamalek secured their place in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage after defeating Kenya’s Police FC 3-1 on aggregate in the second preliminary round last September.
Meanwhile, Egyptian side Masry earned their spot in the group stage by defeating Al-Hilal of Libya 5-3 on penalties in the second leg of the competition's second preliminary round, following a dramatic 5-5 aggregate draw.
The winner of the 2023 edition of the Confederation Cup, USMA Alger of Algeria, has been drawn in Group C alongside ASEC Mimosas of Côte d'Ivoire, Jaraaf of Senegal, and Orapa United of Botswana.
