As he started his statement, Abu Obaida hinted at the potential for further escalations in the conflict.
"The recent operation in Haifa is just one link in what is to come; the future is harsher and more painful," he warned, suggesting that Hamas is prepared for an extended struggle.
"The resistance has developed its tactics and methods to ensure a prolonged and painful attrition war against the enemy," he added.
Reflecting on the past year, Abu Obaida described the conflict as a "year of fighting against a criminal enemy."
Despite the challenges, the Palestinian people have demonstrated an "epic resilience" against overwhelming odds, he noted.
"After a year, we stand before a legendary Palestinian people with legendary steadfastness," he said.
He reiterated the theme of strength through unity, stating that the Palestinian struggle is not just a local issue but resonates globally.
"The Israeli entity is ostracized by all free nations of the world," he claimed, pointing to a growing international awareness of the Palestinian plight.
Abu Obaida expressed gratitude for the solidarity shown by groups like Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq and nations like Iran, stating that their support has played a crucial role in the ongoing war.
In the age of digital warfare, Abu Obaida also called for a significant cyber offensive against Israel.
"We urge experts in electronic warfare to launch the largest cyberattack against the enemy," he declared.
He appealed for greater global solidarity with the Palestinian cause, urging an "Arab, Islamic, and international campaign to support the Palestinian people."
Abu Obaida called on religious scholars and leaders across the Muslim world to recognize the severity of the situation facing the Palestinian people.
He urged them to transcend mere verbal condemnation and take concrete steps to support the Palestinian cause.
"Are you waiting for the news of the demolition of Al-Aqsa Mosque?" he asked.
Abu Obaida linked the ongoing genocidal war in Gaza with recent Israeli operations in the West Bank, asserting that the Israeli government's policies represent a systematic approach to liquidating the Palestinian cause that extends across Palestinian territories.
Concluding with the fate of Israeli captives held by Hamas, Abo Obeida emphasized that their future is dependent on the decisions made by the Israeli government.
He warned that the situation could enter a "dark tunnel" with no clear resolution.
Captives in danger
"The fate of the enemy's prisoners is in the hands of the occupation government," he stated.
He stressed that the fate of any future negotiations for a ceasefire or captive release deal lies with the Israeli government, as well as the failure to reach an agreement.
"The dangers to Israeli captives are increasing day by day," Abu Obaida warned.
He referenced previous incidents, arguing that the Israeli government is the real threat to captives while Hamas militants are attempting to protect them.
This statement comes as the Israeli war on Gaza marks its one-year anniversary, having killed and wounded more than 140,000 Palestinians, destroyed most of the civilian infrastructure, and left 90 percent of the population displaced and on the verge of famine amid a deadly blockade.
