Egypt will face Cape Verde away on 15 November in the fifth round of the qualifiers, followed by a home game against Botswana on 19 November in Cairo.
CAF have appointed Ivorian referee Ibrahim Kalilou Traore, assisted by Ado Hermann, Nouhou Watara, and Hughes Modeste Richard, to oversee the Cape Verde match, scheduled for 6pm Cairo time.
The Botswana match at Cairo International Stadium will kick off at 9pm, led by Gambian referee Abdoullah Jammeh and assistants Mustafa Bojang, Abdulaziz Bulleil Jawo, and Lamin Jammeh.
Egypt lead Group C with 12 points, having won all their matches to date, guaranteeing their qualification for the tournament in Morocco as group winners.
Botswana trail in second with six points, while Cape Verde and Mauritania each hold three points in third and fourth place, respectively. The top two teams from each group advance to the finals.
Egypt’s consistent performance and unbroken record reflect the team’s ambitions for the 2025 tournament, marking a return to Africa’s biggest football stage.
