The official National News Agency stated shortly after midnight that Israel had "targeted the southern suburbs of Beirut."

Earlier, the Israeli army urged residents in two neighbourhoods within Beirut's southern suburbs to leave their homes, releasing maps highlighting buildings targeted in Burj al-Barajneh and Hadath.

Lebanon’s Health Ministry reported a total toll exceeding 2,600 killed and 12,200 wounded in the past year.

According to the United Nations Children’s Agency, ongoing conflict in Lebanon has displaced 1.2 million people, including over 400,000 children.

Israeli raids also continued across several towns and villages in southern Lebanon, hitting border areas such as Khirbet Silm, Kounine, Jdeidet Marjeyoun, and Siddiqin.

In the Bekaa region, Israeli aircraft targeted Jarmash in Hermel, near the Syrian border, more than 12 hours after raids had paused, according to Al Arabiya.

Separately, the Israeli army announced early Sunday that it intercepted two drones from Lebanon over open areas after sirens sounded in Western Galilee and Upper Galilee, according to the Jerusalem Post.

The Israeli army also reported intercepting another drone "from the east," which did not enter Israel, per the Times of Israel.
