Salah, 32, proved to be the savior for Liverpool as his late equalizer in the pulsating 2-2 draw against title contenders Arsenal showcased his prowess on the field.

Arne Slot's team was on the verge of only their second defeat this season until the Egypt international found the back of the net with just nine minutes remaining at the Emirates Stadium.

"Not only does he deliver, but he's also consistently there for us. It's one of the defining traits of top-tier players - their reliability in crucial moments against strong opponents," Slot remarked in an interview on Liverpool's official website post-match.

"Today, like last week against Chelsea, was another significant game where he made his mark with a goal and an assist," Slot added, highlighting Salah's consistent performance in high-stakes matchups.

Salah has been an ever-present figure in Slot's lineup this season, featuring in all of Liverpool's games so far, amassing 13 appearances, scoring eight goals, and providing seven assists.

"Having quality players like Salah is imperative for big clubs such as ours and Arsenal. They are the game-changers without whom achieving favorable outcomes becomes a daunting task," emphasized the Liverpool boss.

"To succeed at this level, you must possess players capable of turning the tide in your favor, and today, Mo exemplified that with his offensive prowess," Slot concluded his praise for Salah's display.

In the previous season, Salah netted 25 goals in 44 matches across various competitions for Liverpool.

The Egyptian winger made his move to Liverpool in the summer of 2017 from Italian outfit AS Roma.

With 362 appearances across all competitions for Liverpool, Salah has notched an impressive tally of 219 goals, and contributed 96 assists to solidify his status as a key player for the club.
