The Red Devils will host UAE side Al-Ain in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup at Cairo Stadium.

Authorities have given Ahly the green light to allow more than 50,000 supporters to attend the game, which is considered a huge advantage by Ahly coach Marcel Koller and team keeper Mohamed El-Shennawy.

“Playing in a crowded stadium will make the game better,” Rahimi told the pre-match news conference on Monday.

“We are used to playing in such conditions. Ahly are a good team, and we will do our best to win the game and advance to the next round.”

Rahimi has produced strong performances with his side as well as the Moroccan national team.

He also shone with the U-23 Moroccan national team in the Paris 2024 Olympics, helping them win the bronze medal at the expense of Egypt.

The international forward was the top scorer at Paris 2024, netting eight goals.
