An Abu Dhabi court sentenced on Tuesday Zamalek sporting director Abdel-Wahed El-Sayed and players Nabil Emad "Donga" and Mostafa Shalaby to one month in prison and fined each of them AED 200,000 for assaulting a match organizer during a recent game in the Emirates.

The Abu Dhabi Primary Court ruled that the Zamalek trio used force, violence, and threats against a public employee to compel the official to take or abstain from certain actions.

The incident took place on 20 October during the Zamalek-Pyramids clash in the Egyptian Super Cup semi-final after an argument between the three Zamalek trio and a member of the event's organizing staff escalated into a brawl.

Zamalek’s management and the involved individuals have not released statements addressing the court’s decision.
