This win handed Ahly the title of the African-Asian-Pacific Cup.
“We didn’t expect the 3-0 win but we hoped to achieve the victory and the players achieved the target,” Ramadan told a television programme after the game.
The Red Devils recently defeated rivals Zamalek on penalty shootout last week to secure the Egyptian Super Cup title.
“There is no difference between the players’ performance during the Egyptian Super Cup game and today’s victory as Ahly deserved the win in the two games,” he added.
The African Champions will now face the winner between Conmebol and CF Pachuca in the Challenger Cup on 14 December.
European Champions Real Madrid will wait for the winner in the final on 18 December.
