A missile strike in Israel's Sharon area wounded 19 people, police said early Saturday, after the Israeli army reported three projectiles were fired from Lebanon into central Israel.
All 19, four of whom were "in moderate condition", were taken to hospitals for treatment, the Israeli police added.
Israel's Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency medical service earlier said that seven people had been wounded in a strike on the central city of Tira, including "a male around 20 with shrapnel injuries".
The Israeli army said on Telegram that it had intercepted some of the three projectiles fired from Lebanon.
Tira, a predominantly Arab town, is located around 25 kilometres (15 miles) northeast of Tel Aviv, near the border with the occupied West Bank.
Earlier on Thursday, rocket fire from Lebanon killed seven people in Metula, northern Israel, including four Thai farmers.
The latest casualties come as the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip spread to Lebanon, where relentless Israel strikes are expanding beyond Lebanon’s border areas.
Despite growing pressure from the United States and others in the international community for a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon, Israel continues to wage an assault on all fronts with complete impunity.
Lebanese health authorities said Israel launched dozens of intense airstrikes across Lebanon’s northeastern farming villages on Friday, killing at least 52 people and wounding 72 others.

Lebanon’s Health Ministry says more than 2,900 people have been killed and 13,150 wounded in the country since cross-border exchanges between Israel and Hezbollah erupted on Oct. 8, 2023.
According to Israeli figures, at least 63 people have been killed on the Israeli side since the start of Israel’s war on Gaza, which began just a day before clashes with Hezbollah erupted.
In Gaza, Israel's relentless bombardment and ground invasion has killed 43,259 Palestinians, mostly women and children, according to figures from the territory's health ministry, which are considered reliable by the United Nations.
