Egypt, Kuwait FMs discuss latest developments in Gaza, Lebanon

Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty and his Kuwaiti counterpart Abdullah Al-Yahya exchanged views on the latest developments regarding the Israeli aggression on Gaza and Lebanon in a telephone call on Saturday, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

According to the ministry, Abdelatty outlined Egypt's efforts to achieve an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and facilitate humanitarian aid delivery.

He also highlighted the country's efforts to secure an immediate ceasefire in Lebanon, stressing the importance of working to ease the escalating regional tensions.

Furthermore, FM Abdelatty underlined the strong bilateral relations between Egypt and Kuwait, expressing his deep appreciation for the continuous development of these ties.

These relations serve as a strong foundation for continued coordination and consultation on developing various areas of cooperation to achieve the best interests of both peoples, he emphasized.
