The 25-year-old winger has impressed this season, positioning himself as a standout in the Bundesliga, where he currently holds the second spot in the scoring charts with 10 goals, one behind Bayern’s own Harry Kane.
Marmoush’s form has earned him a place on Bayern sporting director Max Eberl’s summer 2025 transfer list, Bild said, marking him as a strong candidate to bolster the club’s forward options.
The report also suggested the potential of pairing Marmoush with Kane at Bayern, as the club consider possible replacements for Leroy Sané, whose contract expires at the end of the current season.
Known for his exceptional speed, Marmoush scored two goals and provided an assist during Frankfurt’s thrilling 3-3 draw against Bayern Munich last month, reinforcing his reputation as a dynamic offensive player.
This season, he has contributed to 16 goals, including six assists, a performance that has not only increased his market value but has also elevated Frankfurt’s stature in the Bundesliga.
Eintracht Frankfurt’s sporting director Timo Hardung praised Marmoush’s development, highlighting his contributions to the team’s market value.
“Omar Marmoush is an excellent player, and we’re proud to have him on our team, we’ve discussed his aspirations, including a potential move to the English Premier League, which we wouldn’t oppose if it aligns with his goals and the club’s plans,” Hardung said to German public broadcaster ARD.
According to Hardung, the club had previously considered a transfer to Nottingham Forest, but both parties ultimately agreed to keep Marmoush at Frankfurt for the current season.
“We’re monitoring Marmoush’s performance closely, and with his current form, he could even contend for the Bundesliga’s top scorer title,” Hardung added, acknowledging the player’s skill in both goal-scoring and setting up opportunities for teammates.
With Marmoush’s rising popularity in Europe, Frankfurt are benefiting from increased interest in the Bundesliga from Egyptian fans.
“The Egyptian market has become very important to us, we are closely following Egyptian players, and the support from Egyptian fans is invaluable,” Hardung noted.
Meanwhile, Marmoush’s rise has also captured the attention of Premier League clubs. Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly among the English clubs showing strong interest in signing the Egyptian international, according to FootballTransfers.
Marmoush is seen as a priority for both clubs, with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta reportedly considering Marmoush as a potential replacement for Gabriel Jesus, while Liverpool’s manager Arne Slot is exploring ways to fit the player into his squad.
Manchester United and West Ham are also reportedly interested in the forward, as several English teams seek to strengthen their attacking line-up with Marmoush’s in-demand skill set.
