The Egyptian winger, whose contract with the Reds expires at the end of this season, shared on his social media account that he cherishes the feeling of scoring at Anfield, following Liverpool's 2-1 victory over Brighton in a recent Premier League match where he netted the winner, bringing his season's Premier League goal tally to seven.
Asked about Salah's enigmatic post, Slot declined to comment directly on the issue
“You interpreted it in a way other people don't,” Slot told a news conference ahead his side’s champions League clash against Bayer Leverkusen.
“I don't look at the Instagram posts of my players, I only talk to them - which you can't.”
The 46-year-old coach emphasized that he has not yet spoke with Salah regarding his future, underscoring the significance of the forthcoming conversation between him and the player.
"Mo is in a very good place at the moment.
“As long as he's been at Liverpool he's been in a good place, but this season as well, I'm hoping that he will post one after tomorrow, Saturday again, and what he says isn't important to me, what's important to me is how he plays and what he tells me when we have conversations.”

“That's what matters, not how you guys interpret one of his posts.
"I should have spoken to him about what he said if that was a reference, but I haven't spoken about him, we've spoken about Leverkusen, because that team deserves all our attention for the quality they have.
“He's out of contract at the end of the season, Virgil said something in the press, now he has a post which you interpret in a certain way.
“This will continue for as long as their future is not clear, but in the meantime let's hope they bring in performances that Virgil had and Mo had on the weekend."
Salah, who joined Liverpool from Serie A side AS Roma in the summer of 2017, has been a standout performer for the team over seven seasons, establishing himself as one of the club’s legends.
He has scored 220 goals and provided 96 assists in 364 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool.
