The market capital gained around EGP 3 billion to register EGP 2.225 trillion after transactions amounted to approximately EGP 61.7 billion.
The EGX30 benchmark index slightly increased by 0.47 percent, settling at 30,793.94 points.
However, the broader EGX70 EWI of the leading small and medium enterprises (SMEs) dropped by 0.08 percent, closing at 8,116.38 points.
The all-embracing EGX100 index also declined by 0.04 percent, registering 11,315.07 points.
