Egypt ready to support Congo’s development plans: FM Abdelatty to Congolese counterpart
Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty said on Thursday that Egypt is ready to share its expertise to support Congo’s 2022-2026 National Development Plan, prioritizing sectors like agriculture, tourism, and developing special economic zones.

This came during a telephone call between Abdelatty and his Congolese counterpart Jean-Claude Gakosso, during which they discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and coordinate on African issues of mutual interest.
During the call, the two top diplomats exchanged views on shared issues of interest, underscoring the importance of achieving consensus and unifying African efforts.
They also agreed on mutual support for each other’s representations in regional and international forums.
