Scattered rain is also on the forecast, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said in its weekly bulletin.

According to the EMA, clouds will dominate the northwestern coasts and gradually spread to the rest of the northern coasts and northern Lower Egypt.

Moderate to heavy rain is likely in the north coast and southern Lower Egypt, potentially extending to parts of Greater Cairo on Sunday and Monday.

Strong winds are also expected in several areas of South Sinai.

Morning fog may occur on agricultural roads, highways, and bodies of water, warned the EMA.

As for temperature degrees, Cairo and the Nile Delta will see highs of 24-25 degrees and lows of 16-17 through the weekend.

Those heading to the North Coast, including Alexandria and Marsa Matrouh, should expect highs of 21-23 degrees and lows of 16-17.

North Upper Egypt governorates such as Fayoum, Beni Suef, and Minya will experience highs of 25-26 degrees in the morning and lows of 13-14 degrees at night.

Meanwhile, Sohag, Qena, Luxor, Aswan, and the Red Sea governorates in the deep south will see highs of 29-31 degrees and lows of 16-17 degrees.
