He noted that despite the critical security situation in Beirut, the Egyptian embassy there continues to offer essential consular services, ensuring that Egyptians in Lebanon receive all necessary assistance.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian citizens expressed gratitude to President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and the state for the government's efforts to ensure their safety.
The foreign ministry stated that Abdelatty's move reflects President El-Sisi's directives to repatriate Egyptian citizens stranded in Lebanon.

Earlier Wednesday, Abdelatty visited Beirut to facilitate the repatriation of Egyptian citizens and deliver a new shipment of humanitarian aid as part of Egypt's airlift initiative.
During his visit, Egypt's top diplomat also met with high-level Lebanese officials, including Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berry, Prime Minister Najib Mikati, Lebanese foreign minister Abdallah Bou Habib, and Druze leader Walid Jumblatt.
Abdelatty told the Lebanese officials that Egypt primarily focuses on achieving a ceasefire and halting the Israeli aggression on the country.
