Bourse posts collective gains at close of Thursday trading

Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes posted collective gains at the close of Thursday's trading sessions.

The capital market gained nearly EGP 10 billion to end trading at EGP 2.281 trillion amid total transactions hitting EGP 53.9 billion.

The EGX 30 benchmark index increased by 0.09 percent to reach 31,462.21 points.

The broader EGX 70 EWI index of the leading small- and medium-sized enterprises (SME) climbed by 0.97 percent to register 8,407.39 points.

The all-embracing EGX 100 index increased by 0.74 percent to close at 11,667.71 points.
