Wed 27, 8pm: Anchoring contemporary dance show by Salma Salem explores the idea of a center point and the mechanics of earthing the body with charge from the ground. Gathering as much strength as possible to be able to stand up to everything, we need to stand up for today, this piece attempts to reclaim the body as a subject of political power using a ritualistic approach with specific focus on the womb and the nature of the woman’s body.
