Located in the West Qantara industrial area, this project spans approximately 84,200 square metres and, once operational, is expected to create around 5,000 job opportunities.

This initiative will further strengthen the economic ties between Egypt and Turkey.

It is part of the successful collaboration between SCZone and the Administrative Control Authority (ACA) to establish industrial projects from thriving companies in Egypt, focusing on export-oriented businesses. Currently, 151 companies are part of this programme.

The Eroğlu project is the second Turkish investment in the West Qantara area, following a $40 million project launched in August.

The first project spans 64,000 square metres and is expected to create 2,750 job opportunities.

During the groundbreaking ceremony, Walid Gamal El-Din, chairman of SCZone, highlighted that the West Qantara area offers several competitive advantages, including access to skilled labour and raw materials, positioning it to become a global hub for textiles and ready-made garments.

Eroğlu operates in 38 countries, with four factories and eight subsidiaries, employing 15,000 people globally. The company owns two prominent international brands and has over 1,000 stores worldwide, including 15 in Egypt. Eroğlu plans to expand its presence in Egypt to 100 stores within five years.
