Egypt to experience 3-4°C temperature drop, rainfall starting Sunday

The Egyptian Metrological Authority (EMA) expected temperatures across Egypt to drop by 3-4 degrees Celsius starting Sunday, accompanied by active winds intensifying the chill.

The EMA also expected varying-intensity rainfalls in scattered areas in the northern part of the country.

A drizzle is possible on Thursday over areas along the Northwestern Coast, the Western Delta, and North Sinai.

On Friday and Saturday, morning mist is expected to reduce visibility on agricultural roads, highways, and areas near water surfaces.

Active wind will also prevail over South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt.

From Thursday to Tuesday, Cairo and the Nile Delta will experience daytime highs of 26-27 degrees and nighttime lows of 14-15 degrees.

The North Coast's daytime highs will start at 26 degrees on Thursday and gradually decline to 20 degrees on Tuesday, while nighttime lows will reach 15-16 degrees.

Meanwhile, northern Upper Egypt will see slightly warmer conditions. Daytime temperatures will start at 26 degrees on Thursday and peak at 28 degrees on Saturday, while the nights will cool down to 12-13 degrees.

The warmest conditions will be in Egypt's deep south, with daytime highs ranging between 29 and 30 degrees and nighttime lows between 14 and 16 degrees.
