The president made these remarks on Thursday during a meeting with senior military leaders at the Strategic Command headquarters in the New Administrative Capital (NAC).
The meeting was attended by Minister of Defence and Military Production Abdel Mageed Saqr, Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces Lieutenant-General Ahmed Khalifa, and heads of the leading military branches.
El-Sisi expressed confidence in the military's pivotal role in maintaining Egypt's stability, stressing that the Armed Forces are the cornerstone of the country's security and stability.
He pointed out that the region is going through challenging times, with Egypt serving as a key stabilizing factor amid ongoing developments across its western, southern, eastern, and northeastern borders.
The president highlighted Egypt's moderate foreign policy, noting that the Armed Forces significantly contribute to maintaining national and international stability.
He remarked that the global community views Egypt’s military as a vital stabilizing force.
El-Sisi underscored that the Armed Forces’ role goes beyond military training to active engagement with domestic and international political and security matters.
He greeted the Armed Forces personnel, emphasizing the importance of continued efforts and training to ensure high efficiency and readiness.
President El-Sisi reiterated that Egypt's security and safety are a collective responsibility, particularly for the military personnel who serve as the nation's first line of defence.
His Excellency discussed several public issues and internal affairs with the Egyptian and senior Armed Forces commanders.
He praised the Egyptian Armed Forces' efforts in protecting Egypt’s borders from potential threats.
The meeting also reviewed the army's efforts to secure all the country's strategic directions and evaluated its readiness to carry out its assigned tasks.
