The 32-year-old former Arsenal moved to Al Jazira in July on a free transfer after the conclusion of his contract with the Gunners.
Earlier this summer, Arsenal opted not to renew Elneny's contract, ending his nine-year tenure with the club.
The versatile midfielder, who boasts 98 caps with the Pharaohs, has been a prominent figure in Egyptian football.
Al Jazira, which secured eighth place with 35 points in the previous season, currently occupies third place in the UAE league standings with 16 points.
They trail league leaders Sharjah FC by five points after completing eight fixtures in the ongoing season.
